The director says that the choice of Domhnall Gleeson and Rachel McAdams as the main partner, was because the two radiated friendliness and helpfulness in different tests, so that on the big screen , of necessity, had to end that quality transmitted . The soundtrack to their feature film directorial weigh heavily on the final outcome and this film is that it feels more proud . In fact , he confessed that during the writing process was introducing the themes , telling a funny anecdote : " When one of the characters says: "You remembered Nick Cave " , was not sure we were going to get permissions issue and also recorded the actor saying Stevie Wonder song or just saying that to cover our backs  ".

He claims that the shootings are stressful for him and that "when you're writing if you do not like something you can touch, you can return the next day. Rolling But when these always have too much pressure and too little time." As is usual with him, the DVD holds for us some deleted scene final assembly, but admits that there is a scene from the movie shoot would have liked longer, "the wedding in the rain because they enjoyed watching the actors suffer. "

But then in other films when a soldier leaves the army, going to an apartment and kills a pregnant person , though they say it's realistic , and personally , I've never heard anyone do that".

BYE BYE FILMAKING!

The director confirms that withdraws from the world of management to pursue other matters , such as watching their children grow and eat with friends. Still, he will continue to write scripts like that just ended for director Stephen Daldry .
